Welcome to our section devoted to blazers just for women. Did you know that blazer were originally only for men? Well, that’s how it was intended anyways. Not it’s a fashionable article of clothing for women of all ages. What’s also interesting to note is that you will more often seen a blazer worn by a woman than a man.

One reason that blazers became popular for women was because of a movie entitled Annie Hall. Diane Keaton played the main character, Annie. She had a different idea of fashion. She often dressed in blazers layered over trousers or skirts. This idea caught on as it influenced many women in the world. It’s also interesting to note that the script didn’t call for this style of clothing. It was how Diane Keaton came dressed to play the part. The costume lady, upon seeing how she was dressed, told her not to wear the crazy look she had going.

BB Dakota The Twilight Bella Jacket in Lake Blue,Light Jackets for Women - I recieved this jacket as an anniversary present from my husband just yesterday.....and i absolutely LOVE it! i just can't wait for it to get cold enough to be able to wear it. i told my husband i wanted a size large, basically because i have long arms and i hate short sleaves on jackets. and the whole time i'm wondering "wow am i gonna be swimming in a size large??" then i decided i'll just be able to wear a sweatshirt or something underneath....wrong! lol it fits me just right, i mean if i was bigger on top then i definately wouldn't be able to zip it all the way up! lol but with it being so snug, i know i'm gonna be extremely warm. oh and of course i'm very excited to have a jacket like Bella's, after watching Twilight i fell in love with her jacket, and its nice to know that my husband remembered that lol

Classic Styling, Affordable Price
BGSD Women's Two-Button Lambskin Leather Blazer Coat - I'd been looking in the stores where I live, in Upstate New York, for a classic style like this jacket/blazer. I took a chance on this (there was 1 customer review), and am happy I did. The jacket is light, but really well-constructed, and soft as can be. The seaming gives a nice, fitted, look, without being overly tight. In a straight-cut jacket I'd wear size Small, but ordered this in the medium, and it fits perfectly. I have other, warmer jackets, living in this part of the country, but wanted one that could be dressed up with a nice blouse or down with a pair of jeans & boots. If you're looking for an update in a classic style ( the antithesis of the "motorcycle jacket" ), you won't be disappointed in this one. Oh, and I received it 3 days after placing the order! Necessary Objects Junior's Boyfriend Blazer - I've been looking for the perfect budget-friendly boyfriend blazer -- and this is it! The picture really doesn't show off the blazer's chic and classy fit; it's long and straight, like a real "boyfriend" blazer, but slender enough to be obviously feminine. The shoulders have subtle definition and structure, making them trendy without being overdone.

It's lined with a silky pinstripe fabric, so you can easily roll up the sleeves for a more casual look.

I wish it had a single-button closure instead of being totally open... but since I bought it for style rather than business and I was going to wear it open anyway, that's hardly an issue. This is definitely one of the best boyfriend blazers you can get at this price.

The sizing is a little big for Juniors' -- I would really say it's more women's sizing. I almost always wear Medium in juniors (Small in women's) but I had to get a small for the right fit.
